Green Tea
Green Tea leaves enhance insulin sensitivity by improving the absorption of glucose into skeletal muscle.
[1]
Green Tea lowers blood glucose levels and alleviates insulin resistance by increasing the expression of glucose transporter IV and improving muscular β-oxidation [

Green Tea: The consumption of green tea has been shown to increase the production and release of CCK (Cholecystokinin), which reduces appetite. CCK is a hormone that is released by the intestines after a meal is consumed. This hormone then tells the body that an adequate amount of food has been consumed thus producing satiety, or fullness.
